Wow. Just wow!

As with the fist one, the graphics alone just blew my mind. The sheet amount of detail combined with the music creates a very deep atmosphere. Not to mention the animation is very natural and fluid. The whole game -though a challenge- does flow very well, especially as Sly powers up with magic.

The lack of a boss at the end was disappointing, but overall doesn't subtract from the game.

And guys- it is possible to get all the mushrooms and keys, some are very well hidden, and even with the blue sparks it's difficult to find them. Move slowly and you'll see an occasional spark rise from the floor of a cave.

It's a tower defence version of Guitar Hero!

You're almost there, but a game like this needs an option to use your own songs, or plug it into the audio portal like 'Newgrounds Desktop Radio' by PoderOdunk.

Apart from that everything else is brilliant- still earns itself a 10/10

Very Addictive

What you have is a brilliant concept, and graphically the game is pleasing.
The sound fx are ok, but the bleeping can be a bit irritating after a while- thanks for providing a mute button.

There is room for improvement- hence 9 and not 10;

Put the instructions screen at the start- before the 1st play.

Adjust the controls so the game is mouse only (Right click for flag, double click to reveal adjacent squares.)

Some music would be nice too.

If you really want to go all out; the score should increase with difficulty, and some temporary upgrades wont go amiss either (X-ray mouse let's you see mines, pause the scrolling, 2X points ect...).

Integrate this with the medal system and you'll be on the front page for weeks!

I bored my way through to level 56

Then I realised that it IS possible to bore someone to death.

Graphics: Boring/10

Gameplay: Boring/10

Controls: Boring/10

Could use a boring pause button to make this boring game more boring.

My rating: Boring/Boring

Interesting concept

I like this game- but there's a few difficulties with it; mainly some of the hit boxes are at bit too small- causing a correct guess to be 'wrong'.

Also if you could programme the magnifying lenses to zoom in on the image it would help a lot. small screen + blurry eyesight makes this game a challenge.

You've got the graphics and the music sorted though. Nicely done.

Parkour, Canabalt and Death Race..

Ok- let's start with the graphics; nicely detailed and unique- without being distracting, and each one is appropriate to the it's level. Can't fault you there.

Gameplay- The physics could use a few tweaks, and the controls need sharpening (it's like running on ice), but it adds to the challenge, instead of making it unplayable. Oh and the rewind feature is fucking awesome, wasn't expecting it- top notch programming there- makes dying more fun!

The plot is similar to the film 'Death Race' - where you must run/race for your freedom, and you've clearly taken inspiration from Canabalt too- brilliant work.

On the whole this game is highly addictive, and I still can't find the final sign.

5/5
10/10

(Try playing this with the soundtrack from Canabalt blasting from your speakers- EPIC!!)

Nice- but could use little more help with buttons

You've made clear instructions on how to produce a functioning button, but only gave it one function- go to the next frame, how do you go to any frame? in a different scene?

(You could just put a list of the different actions in the tutorial)

Been there, done that

This is just a remake of 'crush the castle'

same concept, probably the same script as well.
Just a new skin.

having said that- the game itself is ok to play, it's just not the most original.
The concept it good, but it'll take a lot of re-working to create a decent game- not just changing the graphics.

But I'll give you a 4 for trying- graphically it does quite good.

Garfield?

Excellent game, purr-fect even (sorry)

Loved the game when I got into it (the start was a little hard- but after the 1st upgrade or so it's ok).

But what I'd really like is a map of the level (not revealing the whole thing from the start (too easy then!), but maybe one which maps your progress as you go (if you get what I mean here- so you an only see where you've been.))

Apart from that- you've got the rest sorted; appropriate music that doesn't get annoying, the difficulty is well balanced- providing a decent challenge without being frustrating, and I love the pixelated graphics.

btw- the pic at the end reminds me of Garfield!

Nice graphics! Love it!!

There's a couple of glitches that really bug me;

The 'boss run', and 'mission accomplished' medals don't work.

When I play on the large screen (the stretch box in the top corner)- it expands the edges of the map to show more area (which is good), but then the game gets very glitchy, with black boxes randomly appearing around the edge, and the pause menu+ boss-death explosions don't cover the whole screen.

Also the health and weapon recharge menu/box just kinda floats in the middle of the screen - instead of staying in the corner.

Also the key sometimes get stuck- but this doesn't happen too much and isn't the main problem here.

That aside- I'm very addicted to this game- the graphics are spot on; intense enough to really feel each blast, but without overdoing it and crashing my computer.

The control system works great (apart from the occasional sticky key)- but can I request that right click to fire the shoulder weapons instead- would make it a bit easier (my hands aren't THAT big).

The plot was deep and meaningful- and it's got me waiting for the 3rd part- nice work!

on the whole- 4/5, 8/10. I'm sorry- but the glitches do drag it down a little.
