Bunnies on coffee

Ok, I'll have to admit- I'm not too sure where to start with this....

Firstly I admire the detail of your work- it's the airliner in the background during the 1st scene which shows your level of dedication to this project. Also the bullet holes come with a puff of dust, and change according to material, perspective and ammunition...

I could go on to fill this whole space with all the bits I like, but the moments I love which are truly awesome:

Rifles with a bayonet [knife] attached have been around a while- but seeing that sword with that gun on it, well congrats on designing one of the best weapons I've seen.

The shield play with the riot police added a new level to the violence, along with the comedic moment where Snowball pulls the shield back so it slaps a grunt in the face. Genius.

But the one moment that will always be remembered- because in that moment you made your audience feel true empathy for the character - was Smoke's cry
of pain as the coffee wore off.

So thank you for producing this violently awesome piece of art. It may of been two years, but it was two years well spend on your behalf, and well worth us waiting for.

[oh yeah, I showed this to a mate; he says that his rabbit does this when it drinks coffee, I don't know if its true - but the name kinda stuck, sorry]

Mottis responds:

Haha thanks. Btw that was Dust screaming, not Smoke ;)

Nice try

I can see 3 main points that'll greatly improve your work;

1) Speed up the framerate; 20-30fps (frames per second) is a good speed for a flash animation. Your current speed is a bit to slow, and makes it look 'choppy'.

2) Use separate layers for the people walking, and the background- that way you don't have to keep redrawing the background for each frame! (There's a button to create new layers on the bottom of the timeline)

3) Don't use the brush tool for backgrounds- the line tool makes for easier adjustment and looks less sloppy.

That being said- the best thing to do is take your time- never rush it, and practice.

PM me if you want any more help- or use at the flash tutorials on here.

semeieseed responds:

Thanks for the tips, and the tutorials I watched on Newgrounds never really went into depth with backgrounds so I just had to kinda wing it on this one.

this is awesome!!

how many mushrooms did you have to eat to think of this?

InsidiousTweevle responds:

None. I don't like mushrooms much. Their texture is rather yucky. =P

crap

total crap

1- use decant sound, make it sync with the movie

2-unless it a sprite movie, avoid the pixalited graphics- mixing the two rarely works

3)'big bad boss' was lame- make it LOOK evil, instead of a label

4) don't put 'vote 5' in the submission, or in the descrpition- it just drags it down even further

Little-Red-Bear responds:

Madness movie

music good

graphics bad
sound fx ok

it's a good idea, but can you spend more then 10 seconds on the drawings next time.

Little-Red-Bear responds:

I thought the drawings were good, screw you smartesthere. And you have not submited anything yet.

epic!

-but where can i see the one called 'blacksmith'?

Fr0zEnPh0eNiX responds:
